How do you get through the day?

Or in my case should I say "How do you get through the night?" Well, let me see. If it weren't for my friend in IL (YO!) and our FRIENDS, Drew, Sandy, Ben, Bill, Jimmy, Hugh, Julia, Dermot (swooooon!) Harry (double Swwwwwooooooooooon!) Kevin, and Meg I don't know how I would make it through the night! Sometimes, I sit here and wonder about how hard my job can be and then I realize that in no other job, can you do something you ABSOLUTELY love more than anything you have ever done and AND and get to watch chic flicks WHILE you are working! Hahahaha I am not sure where I am going to put my television when my new office furniture is all set up next week... I might just cry without my girlie shows! Here's to hoping you are all happy in your job, obsessed with your job, and completely 100% in LOVE with your life like I am.

DSPA is hosting A Kids' Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 27th 10-4pm. This fundraiser will benefit the homeless children that go to our public schools. There will be raffles, bounce houses, a treasure hunt, rootbeer garden, Fire Department will be present, and DJ. Join us for lots of family fun!!!

Senior retakes are done!

Yeah! Look at these fine young men! MHS really has some polite young men there this year! I am impressed! It is ALWAYS nice to be told "Yes, ma'am" and "No, ma'am"! I have got to tell you it NEVER gets old. What a great bunch of kids today! Mostly boys came in so I am posting three young men today for my post!

Rams do it again.... although you guys admittedly had me biting my nails! Rams beat the Gophers 10-7 in that last few moments of the game. WTG RAMS!

Tonights shot is one that I am just having fun with. The moon really interests me. And of course a couple of the cheerleaders from tonight's homecoming parade! I seem to post nothing but the football team, so I hope this makes up for some of that!

YOU Shellie! I could NOT resist shooting these beauties today! The best part? We bought some and brought them home! YEAH!!!!! We spent the day at Apple Annie's and picked our own pumpkins and our own produce! I am making a basket of veggies for my neighbor tomorrow! Heheh SHHHHHHHH! I can't wait to make some vine ripened tomato sauce this week! YEAH! Check out my sunflowers baby! WHoooo Hooo!

Friday's Football!

The mighty might Rams kicked Dust Devil tail Friday night and due to internet problems I could not post! So I wanted to share what I got for ya tonight! I have a couple of nights to make up for!

I have been swamped! Preparing for the Founder's Day event was crazy! I ended up giving out over 2,000 post cards and booking some new awesome clients! I loved seeing all the cute babies coming by asleep on mom and dad's arm! And the best part of it all is I met another very nice photographer that is local here! She has a lot of the same ideals as me and I just wanted to weeeeeeeeeeeeep for JOY! Girl, we have got to get together!

Just a quick shot of my booth! Cheappppy P&S camera so dont mind the BLAH of it! I really wanted to get out to the community how essential it is for a professional high end quality product to be at the end of their sessions. I encouraged them to touch the unique textures of my prints and see all the wonderful black and white conversions available! I want them to realize that they DON'T have to settle for less than 100% perfect! Come in, have a session done, and realize why you don't have to settle for less! We would love to see you!

People were ooooing and awwwing the MOST over my banners and the 16x20 teacup baby... (THANKS FAITH! Your baby in the cup was a HIT!)

USS ARIZONA

Something that I hold close to my heart and was the ONE sight seeing thing I wanted to do while I was there. If I had to choose between a Luau and this... I would have picked this.

Back from Hawaii!

I only grabbed a few snaps from my trip. I have not even been on my work computer yet! These images have not been edited or anything but I wanted to share and let you know we just got back from Hawaii... We stayed on Oahu because of the Jimmy Buffet concert we flew out there for. No... I did not want to risk smuggling my camera into the concert so I did not get an y shots of Buffet. But here is one of a Luau....

We did meet up with a few ASU alumni and well one of them was a little happy at the time the Luau was in full swing. ;) I will get those photos processed as soon as possible!

All of these images were taken with my 70-200mm 2.8 L and ambient light. I forgot how much fun it is to shoot without flash! I need to turn on my work computer and actually make sure these are color corrected etc. But for now I hope you can enjoy a couple of the shots!

On location ALWAYS rocks!

Oh I am sooo happy! I love this baby oodles and gobs! I can't imagine not having her in my studio!!! THIS is the way an on location shoot should be!!! Sarah... I just couldn't help but not post this for you (SOOC) straight out of the camera!

Lord have mercy! I can't help myself! I have forgotten how gorgeous on location is!!!!!
